If you're a member of the Friends of AFH Children's Centre Whatsapp group then you will have seen some very good news!
One of the girls that we care for at AFH has just obtained some excellent exam results!
The exams are Uganda's equivalent of the GCSE exams in the UK, so you can get an understanding of how important these exams are.
Abba Father's House and our friends have supported Tabitha through all of her schooling so far. In Uganda, education is not free. To attend the government school, you have to pay the government. For Tabitha, the plan is for her to spend the next 2 years studying for her A Levels. And then on to University. All of these stages need to be financed - school fees and statutory requirements, uniforms, books, transportation, meals, and support from the staff at Abba Father's House children's centre.
This is why we do what we do, to give a hope and a future to children like Tabitha.
