Life is about living and let live, giving and taking. At Abba Father’s House we have a heart to share what we have with the less privileged people in order to give them a helping hand and we also inspire others to do the same.

Raising funds on Magna Carta Day in Egham UK
One of the ways we support disadvantaged children under our care is to offer them sellable skill training in local projects work. Whilst our projects were picking up in 2020, the global pandemic emerged and our efforts to become self-funding were shuttered. We had established the widows project which was providing widows with skills training and also production of crafts which were sold within Uganda and abroad and funds raised were helping to support widows financially. The widow’s project was temporarily suspended as widows dispersed to various villages where some have remained even after covid.
Other projects which were effectively running included a piggery, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, gardening, book making etc. Because of covid 19, the projects failed because there was no market as most people had left town and we had to sell our products for nearly nothing as maintenance became unaffordable.
As life is slowly coming back to normal, it’s is still our desire to re-instate project as much as possible, both to enable us to equip our beneficiaries with sellable skills and also to raise funds locally.
We’re appealing to you for help, to enable us resume the project work because it is essential for our day to day running of the orphanage in order to keep children active and occupied especially when they on holidays. From these projects, children learn how to earn a living from simple activities.
Every little helps, and great things are made out of small things. If you would like to get involved in making a difference in orphans’ and widows’ lives, please find below a list of some of our requirements and projects that you can help us to restore.
Partnership – you can partner with us through prayer and also give a monthly contribution of any amount.
Sponsorship – you can sponsor a child at a monthly donation of any amount. The monthly sponsorship is £67 per child but a child can also be co-sponsored by more than one person, so you can simply donate any monthly amount affordable to you.
Projects – you can donate a lump sum of any amount towards purchase of a milk cow, or towards any of the projects mentioned above. Please use the link below to donate towards the milk cow. Thank you.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up towards this cause.
